Music brings people together

We started out as most musicians do, a strong appreciation for the arts. Cameron has been singing as long as he can remember. He started with singing along to the Beatles when he was about seven then Queen and Led Zeppelin by the time he was in middle school. It wasn't until at fifteen, he learned how to sing and play Folsom Prison Blues by Johnny Cash, that he found his calling for country music. After he found his way to Down East Country Music Association, DECMA, and met Melanie, and as they say, the rest was history.

Melanie's mother's favorite story about how she started was the day she was born, only hours old the doctor had said she was humming. She basically was born singing and hasn't stopped. With supportive friends and family, she began singing for DECMA ( Down East Country Music Association ) when she was fourteen where she met many great musicians, including Cameron!
