Breast Care

From the end of September until the end of November there was a huge amount of support in raising funds for Bennett Breast Care Center.

At the car show we raised around $1300. At Pumpkin Fest we raised more and got great promotion for our Hungry Zombie race (rain was a nemesis to our event happening) and encouraged new people to join our club.

The great success we had throughout was inviting area businesses to be part of our Pink Ribbon Campaign, the last tally was over 1,000 for ribbons sold. Throughout the valley Pink ribbons were everywhere.

We soon will be sending a grant  to match the money we have raised.   Through the last three years of COVID, events cancelled, some mind-blowing wind and turmoil we really have worked hard to raise money. Before the car show we were over $9,000 in funds raised.

We have four raffles going on.

Two night stay at Best Western drawn the week before Thanksgiving.

Singer simple sewing machine and table To be drawn December 17

A 18 hole round of Golf at Oakdale Country Club for a party of 4 to be drawn December 17.

A Super Bowl xxxvi jacket to be drawn at our Super Bowl party in February.

On December 17, our fifth annual Pie and Other Good Stuff Auction will be held in the Function hall from 1pm. We will auction, desserts, gifts, services and adventures. Donations are greatly appreciated .

Why you should go to a Club Meeting

The Aerie is now holding their meeting at 6:30 and the Auxiliary holding their meeting at 7:00 pm. Membership bi-monthly meetings being held with the Auxiliary having the first and third Wednesdays and the Aerie holding its meetings on the second and fourth Wednesdays. The fourth Wednesday is new member initiation night and as an added incentive to attend the meeting a light meal is prepared for the new members and meeting attendees.  Also 50/50 and $50 gift card drawing each Aerie meeting. This Club belongs to its members and this is the forum where members can get to know the inner workings of the club and have a voice on concerns.  All our expenses are brought up on the floor and need to be approved by the membership for purchase or services.  Steps to becoming a new member need to be voted on by the membership along with reports from the Committees, Trustees, Treasurer & Secretary that all need to be OKed. Hope to see you there.
